Magdolna's Hair, Venus's Wings: Permeability on the Border between Sacred and Profane / Magdolna haja, Vénusz szárnya: átjárhatóság szent és profán határán

A Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem Történettudományi Doktori Iskola Művészettörténeti Műhelye A szenttől a profánig címmel rendezi meg a doktoranduszok ez évi kétnyelvű konferenciáját 2025. június 12-én a Danubianum 309-es termében.

The Art History Program of the Doctoral School of History of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University will organize this year's bilingual conference for doctoral students entitled From Sacred to Profane on June 12, 2025 in room 309 of the Danubianum building.

A konferencia bevezető előadását egykori doktoranduszunk, jelenlegi oktatónk, Isó Emese tartja.

The conference's opening lecture will be given by our former doctoral student and current lecturer, Emese Isó.

A doktoranduszok előadás-témái közt szerepel többek közt a Közel-Kelet, Szíria antik és középkori szakrális építészete, a középkori gótikus építészet, kardok és pásztorbotok, kálváriák és pestisoszlopok művészete, a modern festészet és fotográfia Jeruzsálemtől Budapestig. Összesen 14 tudományos előadás a doktorjelöltek eddigi kutatásainak összefoglalásaként.

The doctoral students' lecture topics include, among others, the ancient and medieval sacred architecture of the Near East, Syria, medieval Gothic architecture, the art of swords and shepherd's crooks, calvary and plague columns, and modern painting and photography from Jerusalem to Budapest. A total of 14 scientific lectures summarizing the doctoral candidates' research to date.
