Workshop a Wan Színházban

Tajpejben, a Wan Színház szervezésében többnapos komplex bábos workshopot tartottam tajvani művészek és művészeti egyetemi hallgatók számára. 

A program során a bábos technikai alapok mellett a báb animáció és az anyaghasználat jelentésrétegeit is vizsgáltuk. A workshop keretében a tajvani közösségben erősödő általános szorongást és a közösségi média negatív hatásait kutattuk, amelyet videó- és papírinstallációk, illetve bábos performansz formájában mutattunk be a Wan Színházban.

In Taipei, I held a multi-day complex puppet workshop for Taiwanese artists, and art university students, organised by Wan Theatre. 

During the workshop, we explored not only the basic technical skills of puppetry but also delved into the layers of meaning in puppet animation and material usage. As part of the workshop, we conducted research on the growing sense of anxiety in the Taiwanese community and the stifling effects of social media. We presented the work in the form of video and paper installations and puppet performance at the Wan Theatre. The focus was on the complex and repressed relationship with mental health in the Taiwanese community.
